Yes, the Taliban has the guiding principle of sharia and the determination to go global – as if it was a business venture. Not sure if drugs would still be a sold commodity.  The impact is not only about what the Taliban will do in a symbiotic way it is also about what the Islamic radicals will do to the Taliban. One from UK is already asking for the imposition of the jizya tax. The real fact is that the Taliban is not a monolithic 'institute' and almost like different disagreeing churches, it has several sects. If they unite, unless restrained by global forces, they will be a force to reckon with. With several governments already recognizing the new regime the government will be stable. This common enemy and the economic possibilities led merger of an extreme theist and an avowed atheist will need time to show its global impact. Yes, once stable and in command, it will do what it sees fit for the spread of Islam. Taliban will offer sanctuary to the global Jihadists – a land of hope for them. Determined, its Jihad will continue outside the country. An ambitious Afghanistan could be a danger to Pakistan itself for Islam matters more than the morals of being nice to the one who helped them earlier.  On the other hand, if they fight amongst themselves using the concept of ‘1 sect goes to heaven’ then internal killings can lessen the achieved power. In fact, reports are already there of a resistance movement against the Taliban (not so) surprisingly calling them American stooges! China could also subdue it, once involved from inside through business. Irrespective of all that the tragedy of this county is that the battles never stop there.
