Personally, despite Congress having nothing to offer, his tearjerker in the Ganges,
the denial of the candidature of vote-cutting Hindu-supporting candidates, and
having historically made Kejri see blue Modi could barely manage to win in
Benaras. And Ajodhya, the BJP’s grand temple town, showed a loss to none other
than the Lord Ram-denying party! You can’t have a worse jinx than that. The
jinxed day went to the centre too. There, the BJP saw blue too. Almost like the
Chinese aid to Pakistan, it saw a coalition partners bailing it out.
So what went wrong for the grand sire?
If read between the lines, these factors will be clearly seen:
1.
The discontent due to inflation and lack of jobs:
What the poor people, the real voters, look for is not great infrastructures,
shopping malls and highways, as the less-voting rich feel good about, but for their
immediate needs—food, freebies, or a source of income. Both the lack of
promised jobs and the not-promised gross inflation caused discontent across party
lines. If Modi had only spent a couple of billions to reduce prices and create jobs,
nobody could stop his win. Despite his huge political experience, he didn’t.
2.
The discontent of the cadres of the BJP and RSS:
Leaving aside the out-of-the-land factors, with the Congress having little to offer,
PM Post alone aiming I.N.D.I.A looking easily beatable and the ‘abki bar 400
paar..’ giving high confidence, the low jest to fight among the BJP's workers was
clear. Yes, imported corrupt leaders weakened opposition, but while preferring
them made its own leaders in waiting sulk, denying the ethos of ‘na khane dunga
..’ their dry-cleaning to fit in also denied pride among its workers. The shared
mutual dislike between the newcomers and the RSS didn’t help. While ‘temple’s
‘aap hi karenge?’ also aired, who was not happy, the programmed Nadda’s out of
the blue outburst, ‘We don’t need the RSS’ as icing on the cake, made the latter’s
cadres spend free time drinking tea at tea stalls. Haunted by unfulfilled promises
and unplanned inflation, while some MPs refused tickets and many shied away
from constituents till Nadda’s pride turned into anger, many who agreed did not
retain their seats.
3.
The discontent of the Hindus:
Ask the Biharis. Unlike the block-voting Shia and Sunni Muslims, aided by MK
Gandhi, Laloo, Nitish, etc., the Hindus have always preferred caste identities. If
nothing else, AAP at least changed that politics to development. Unlike what
dumb Hindus are made to think, the teachings of religions and dharma are
opposite; so, 'respect of all faiths’, or ‘all faiths are the same’ can be right for them
alone. Yes, the Ram Temple was built after an aeon with great fanfare, which
actually did a Triptikaran on the bhaktas. But behind the scenes, it was very
different. The usurping of the temple committee after the SC verdict, installing a
karsevak killing henchman as its chief, and bestowing medals to the karsevak
killing Mulayam credited evil alone. With the process and the completeness of the
construct denying Agama Shashtra rules, the auspicious timing tracing PMO’s
election strategy rather than the Jyotishi’s wishes and rules, the self-emerged
pratima delving into the realm of the unknown and the known man-made icon
showcased in its place, and seeing no dharma in it, like the Muslims not voting for
Modi, the Shankaraccharyas declined 'Modi's' invite.
Aadi Shankaracharya united and saved Hinduism and blessed the four matha
Shankaracharyas, not Modi’s versions of them. Since ‘What is due to Caser and
what is due to the Pope’ wasn’t followed, the guru's or wife's absence was filled by
the presence of the RSS chief. Hindus were always divided by castes and
ethnicities, but this disregard for the Pope and the invasion by Caesar divided the
Hindus as never before into the ‘guru devo bhava’ lot and the Modi bhakta lot. It
even saw one pope voicing against the fallen ancient and self-emerged icons in
the made-to-believe Banaras corridor. The pontiff even went for the cow slaughter
banning parties! Interestingly, the demolishing of ancient self-emerged icons in the
making of the corridor was refused even by the local Muslims, it is said. So, West
Bengal’s Rohingyas had to be brought for the destruction, says the same source.
Yes, the RSS propped up Modi in 2014. But now, almost aired by Sudharsan’s
question to Modi at the Ram Temple event, the RSS seems to have done a
vanishing trick from canvassing in the North. But more importantly, when the need
was acute, almost amounting to vinas kale viparit buddhi Nadda’s unexplained
and untimely, ‘We don’t need the RSS’ aired a complete break in the RSS/BJP
‘breakup patch up’ live in relationship. Hindus' rift with the former (RSS) wasn’t
unnoticed either. Yes, wrongly seeing genes alone, not beliefs forming human
actions, and that applying to Hindus acts with Muslims alone and not in the quoted
vasudhaiv kutumbakam the RSS chief did add appeasement alone and not love
from the Hindus.
The centre aiding and abetting the gun-toting Christian Kukis and a total,
unconstitutional, and endless inaction on the plight of the Hindu Meities made
even the former army officers shed tears. Also, the absence of even words for
gang raped Hindu women in burning Manipur, Bengal and Rajasthan and the
lynched and killed sadhus, but expressions of grief over other faiths’s women’s
ailments caused much distress to the Hindus. Even the BJP MPs aired real tears
with a, ‘Are we not women?!
